How it works. Will a Lawnbott work for you?

Here's how it works, the Lawnbott explained:

The LawnBott is a robotic lawn mower that automatically mows the grass in your yard. You put it out in the Spring, bring it back inside in the Fall.

The robotic lawnmower operates automatically, and autonomously by means of its on board computer and a perimeter cable much like an Invisible Fence dog fence. It can move freely within an enclosed area, detecting the coded signal transmitted by the perimeter cable located on the ground, defining the areas to be mowed. You can use the Lawnbott with a cable based dog fence. How it works is you simply make sure they are on opposing frequencies.

As a plus, if you have a fenced in lawn, the Lawnbott can also work without a perimeter cable as working area is enclosed by a fence or small border at least 4 inches tall.

A typical day:

When it begins its work cycle, the mower leaves its docking station and starts mowing your yard in a straight line. Once it encounters the first obstacle, such as a tree or the perimeter cable, it will stop, back up, turn and go off in a different direction.

Smart Spiral:

This is how it works: If the LawnBott (LB3210 / LB3250 and LB3500 / LB3550 models) senses thick or tall grass it will start a smart spiral function where it will begin to spiral outward from that area to even out the grass height. This added feature helps to eliminate any missed areas. At first sight you won't believe the Lawnbott can get every part of your yard. In just a few days time, the lawn looks freshly mowed, and stays that way!

Low Battery:

How it works: When the computer detects the batteries running low, or at the end of its cutting cycle, the lawnmower will search out the perimeter cable and follow it back to its docking station to recharge. If the computer has determined the lawn is not fully cut, it heads back out on its own!

And that is how a Lawnbott cuts your grass!

We have our mowers set to mow anytime from 7am to 11pm. Never has their been a complaint from the neighbors.

All models are able to handle pretty much any yard you can throw at it. As long as the appropriate mower is chosen for the size of the yard, you won't have any problems.
