The LawnBott LB3250 robotic lawn mower has had some great new features introduced for the 2009 models. These include: alarm, new wheel design, improved motors, improvements to the programming, hardware, can mow 4 zones, and much more. So, how does this mower really work?

As the LawnBott LB3250 is mowing, it monitors the amount of resistance against the blade. If the height of the grass is low the LawnBott's blade motor slows down and reduces the drain on the battery. This allows it to be more efficient it power usage.

On higher grass the LB3250 will sense that there is more resistance and send more power to the mowing motor to power its way through the deep grass. When done in the deep area, the blade will again slow down. Much smarter than a gas mower!

Remember, the LB3250's blades are super thin so they don't take much power to speed up and slow down (less mass=less energy) and you battery will last a long time. Also, since they are so thin they don't have to punch through the grass, they slice through like a Samurai sword.

Another feature that the LB3250 has is called the Smart Spiral. When mowing along and it comes to an area that is much deeper than what it has previously encountered, it will begin to mow in a growing spiral. This maximizes the amount of area cut with the minimal amount of energy. This also ensures the number of uncut areas is keep as close to zero as possible.
