The Lawnbott LB1200 Spyder is perfect for that small yard with well defined borders like concrete, asphalt, flower beds or other types of solid barriers. Since this model needs no perimeter wire your setup time is virtually eliminated.

This model differs from the other Lawnbott models in many ways but one is very important to note. The Spyder is placed by you in your yard to be mowed and started manually. Once the lawn is done, you retrieve the Spider and return it to the charging station.

There are some simple prerequisites to determine if your lawn is able to host an LB1200 Spyder:

• Is the total lawn size smaller than 1/8 of an acre or about 5,500 sq. ft.?
• Are there any hills or slopes that measure over 27 degrees?
• Are all of your flowers, gardens and pools (or any other are not to be mowed) separated from the lawn by dirt, mulch, cement or anything but live grass?

The perfect small lawn solution - with nearly zero setup

With its two sets of 3 sensors, for a total of 6, the LawnBott LB1200 knows the difference between live growing grass and what is not live growing grass. The it encounters dead grass it will not cut there. When it encounters mulch, it will not cut there. Concrete, gravel, tree roots, or your kids stuffed animals all don't constitute live grass so it won't cut on any of these surfaces.

When either set does not detect it is touching real live grass, it stops and goes a new direction.

The sensor system is very reliable. While this may not be the perfect mower for every yard, yours could be the perfect yard for the Spyder.
